Upon stumbling into Sob's on Wednesday October 20th during CMJ week, I was captivated by an exuberant artist whose animated stage presence and commanding voice doused the venue with a pizazz likened to Church service on Sunday morning, please welcome the lovely; Rasheeda Wallace. Ms. Wallace is an R&B soulstress/singer, song-writer who was reared by her love for music since the ripe age of 2 and who worked with the likes of; Chaka Khan, Crystal Waters, First Choice, Dj Premier and Pattie Labelle. Rasheeda's sound can be summed up as edgy R&B with a touch of rock and up-beat soul.
