Radish Butter Boats

I never thought I would learn to love Red Radishes as much as I do.   Red Radishes flesh is white, and has a crisp texture with a pungent peppery flavor sort of like mustard greens.   The peppery flavor is not over whelming so don't be afraid to give them a try.  

This is a simple, cheap and yummy vegetarian dish that everyone will love.  A great dish to make for a backyard BBQ or gathering.   

 

You will need:

Grated Radishes 

Butter

Sea Salt 

Hot Dog Buns

 

Lightly toast hot dog buns on grill or in oven.  Butter bread and top with freshly grated radishes and add sea salt to taste.

 

Recipe Variation

Place grated radishes on paper towels, and squeeze out excess liquid. Combine radishes with a small amount of butter in a bowl.  Mix radish butter mixture really well and add to toasted bread.
