Change The World, Create Something!
Quetz' is another parisian beatmaker. You may have heard of him because he was the team mate of Onra (Les Chinoiseries, remember Coca Cola Beijing Anthem? Anyway...) on "Tribute" in 2006, an instrumental homage to soul music artists. "Vision" his first solo LP, is out since May 2009 and it sounds less soul but more latin. His spanish origins are certainly responsible for this. He could have done one big track of the 25 because this album is a whole piece to listen to. No need to skip any track, he just built the tracklist as if you were travelling in South America. You'll feel the smell of the markets, hear the elders talking on their bench and of course you'll listen to the music that is coming out from stores, houses or cars. That is Quetzal Vision's of Latin America.
