So AFRIKA21 vol. 3 has been out for a couple weeks now. We've tweeted, facebooked, blogged, had 2 radio broadcasts, an on-air interview with the project's producer Spoek Mathambo, and have got 431 total downloads. It's all because of you! Thanks for listening, downloading, sharing, and "getting it." You get that #AFRIKA21 isn't just some cool music -- it's showcasing the wealth of talent our continent and the Diaspora has to offer. Something other (mainstream) outlets don't do.
But we'd love to showcase someone else to you. #AFRIKA21 is also a fundraising campaign for 3 organizations based in Africa:
Sierra Leone Cultural Conservation Program (Sierra Leone)
Your $5 donation will help them pay for equipment, fund more programs, and put more goodness in the world for the next wave of creatives!Include these 3 orgs in your holiday shopping, trade one pumpkin spice latte for an #AFRIKA21 donation, or donate as a gift to someone else!
