Change The World, Create Something!
Anyone can see how fashion and social media fit hand in hand. Both are driven by communication between people all of the world and the delivering of visual messages. So when we learned about the online fashion market place Etsy teaming up with BurdaStyle, the ultimate DIY site for fun and fabulous sewing patterns, to put on a fashion show, we knew this was a must-see. Thanks to Carol Cho, Marketing & Partnership Director, we were able to street chat with three of the shows designers (Shannon Kramp, Malissa Long and Margot Scott), all of whom brought one of their lovely models along to showcase their hot designs. Not only can these ladies sew a mean outfit, but they understand the immense need for innovative designs in an industry that can often be paint-by-numbers. Check out the video below, soak up all of the fashion inspiration, and then head to BurdaStyle and get to sewing!
