New boutique is opening August 2009 to promote and nurture indie artists and designers. It will be THE place to find innovative fashion, home, and accessories for the fashion-forward.
Located in the heart of a city in transformation, Newark NJ, the boutique will be amongst the renaissance of a part of downtown that is being compared to South Street in Philly and even Soho. The brand new storefront is 1800 sq ft and will be below luxury loft NY-style apartments and in a row of equally fabulous shops, restaurants, galleries, and cafes only 12mins from midtown NYC.
It is surrounded by Rutgers University, NJIT, Seton Hall Law School and the burgeoning art community.

If you are a designer thinking of opening your own boutique or an artist seeking to open a gallery, this may be the best opportunity for you. Much less expensive of going it alone and you'll get the support and share the customer base of the other artists in the collective. Each artist/designer will have a store within the store. You can work there directly with your customers, building a loyal clientele OR feel the comfort of knowing that the store is being managed and promoted by 2 owners that are both experienced boutique owners and designers.

If you are seeking space to design, sew, paint and create, 900 square feet below the store front will be available for studio space.

Rent: $150/mo once stop opens. Until the store opens, (June-July) the rent will be $50/mo to cover advertising, marketing materials, etc.
