AFRIKA21

Society HAE conceptualized AFRIKA21 with the goal of creating a platform to introduce Africa's emerging creative thinkers in the fields of music and arts & culture.  Afrika21 will give audiences a first hand look at 21st century contemporary African music and culture, and opens up a new dialogue about Africa. Our programming to date has included panels/talks at South By Southwest (SXSW) and Social Media Week (SMW), in addition to music showcases.

The AFRIKA21 Mixtape serves as an opportunity to celebrate Africaʼs next wave of musicians, highlight the renaissance taking place on the continent and raise the profile of people and organizations working toward farming a new vision of Africa in the 21st century.
