Concerning The Crack explores the growing "crack" between the younger
and older generations of the African-American community caused by many
factors including the "Crack-Cocaine Epidemic" of the late 1980's and
the "Technological Phenomenon" of the new millennium.
On Saturday, March 13th from 12pm-4pm, African-American people aged
*14-21 years and people 40 years and older are invited to participate
in the open casting call and photoshoot for CONCERNING THE CRACK.
Artist, Jocelyn M. Goode will host this event at the
African Center for Community Empowerment
located at 111-20A Farmers Blvd. (at the corner of Mangin Ave., bus
lines Q3 & Q83) in Saint Albans, NY 11412. The images and footage
from this event will be used for the creation of the final project,
which will be exhibited in November 2010.
