BK FIT CLUB ACTIVITIES WEEK OF JULY 11


Here’s the run down of this week’s activities.  As usual all activities are FREE.

Stadium Steps Workout & Yoga
Wed, July 13 @ 7pm
Last week we took on the steps at Ft Greene Park was victorious and got the ultimate leg workout.  We finished off with an amazing yoga session led by Ola of So Hum Studios.  We enjoyed the workout so much so that we’re doing it all again this week.

Just For Kicks…. BK Kickball Classic

2 weeks ago we heading to Prospect Park for a game of Kickball and had a most awesome time, all while getting a full body workout.  We even made a super fresh video of our kickball shenanigans… ahhh the memories.

Bike Governor’s Island
Sunday, July 17 @ 2pm
Planning an island getaway just got a lot easier and won’t cost you a dime.  Join the BK Fit Club as we head to Governor’s Island to bike to it’s beautiful greenway.  And if you don’t have a bike no worries, you can rent one on the island.

We will meet at Ft. Greene Park on the corner of Dekalb and Washington Park.  We’ll then bike to the free Governor’s Island ferry in DUMBO.  Bikes ARE allowed on the ferry. Boat Ride is about 15 minutes.

*** Feel free to pack a lunch or bring money to buy food on the island.
*** Bike Rental is $15 for 2 hours.  A valid photo ID (US State issued driver's license or passport) is required as a deposit, to be held for the duration of the ride, for each adult rental.
*** FYI… prior to the G.I. ride Ola of So Hum Studio will be teaching a 12 noon yoga class at Ft Greene Pk,  Fee: Donation
