Event Description

The Black Artist as Activist Exhibition--co-curated by Danny Simmons and Brian Tate.

The Center for Black Literature in Association with Corridor Gallery, the Association of Black Artist-NY and the Theatre for the Free People present the Black Artist as Activist and Transformative Agent Arts Program. The Exhibition shows the work of 10 emerging and established artists whose work addresses the theme of artists as transformative agents in their lives and in the world.

I am proud to announce that I will be showing my photography in New York! Two of my photographs were selected to be a part of the "Black Artists as Activists" exhibition, curated by Danny Simmons and Brian Tate, at the Corridor Gallery in Brooklyn. I hope you can make it to the opening reception on the 31st.
