The Black Artist as Activist Exhibition--co-curated by Danny Simmons and Brian Tate.
The Center for Black Literature in Association with Corridor Gallery, the Association of Black Artist-NY and the Theatre for the Free People present the Black Artist as Activist and Transformative Agent Arts Program. The Exhibition shows the work of 10 emerging and established artists whose work addresses the theme of artists as transformative agents in their lives and in the world.
