 reening in Three Cities TBA\n\n\nRWUL presents: The 2nd Annual Red Orc
 hid Female Short Film Festival 2009; this event will be showcasing the
  films of female independent filmmakers. The film festival not only wi
 ll be featuring the films of talented female artists, but filmmakers w
 ill have the chance to compete for recognition. Film entries will be a
 ccepted from August 31, 2009 to December 15, 2009 . The best 10 films 
 will be selected by the RWUL’s film committee to be featured in the 
 film festival in December 2009. The 10 films selected will be eligible
  for an Audience Choice award. The Audience Choice award will be given
  to the filmmaker selected by the viewing audience as the film festiva
 l favorite. The Red Orchid Film Festival will be held online this year
  with a special screening at theater in three cities that will be anno
 unced after the online screening. The votes will be cast via our websi
 te and the films will screen online for three days.\n\n\n\nFor Filmmak
 ers: Rules and Eligibility\n\nOpen to any independent female filmmaker
 s ( includes director, writer or producer) that are 18 years of age or
  older\nAll film genres will be accepted (ex: animation, documentary, 
 etc.)\nFilms must be 5-15 minutes in length*\nFilms cannot contain por
 nographic material\nFilms with unauthorized copyrighted material will 
 not be accepted\nFilms using non-licensed material will not be accepte
 d\nEach film entry must be accompanied by a filmmaker short bio\nAll f
 ilms must be received by December 15, 2009\nPrizes and awards are give
 n per film entry\nThere is no limit on the number of entries\nFilms mu
